Kallichore ( ; Greek: ''Καλλιχόρη''), also known as , is a natural satellite of Jupiter. It was discovered by a team of astronomers from the University of Hawaii led by Scott S. Sheppard, et al. in 2003. It received the temporary designation .〔(IAUC 8089: ''Satellites of Jupiter'' ) 2003 March 7 (discovery)〕〔(MPEC 2003-E29: ''S/2003 J 9, 2003 J 10, 2003 J 11, 2003 J 12; S/2003 J 1, 2003 J 6'' ) 2003 April 3 (discovery and ephemeris)〕 Kallichore is about 2 kilometres in diameter, and orbits Jupiter at an average distance of 23,112 Mm in 717.806 days, at an inclination of 165° to the ecliptic (164° to Jupiter's equator), in a retrograde direction and with an eccentricity of 0.2042. It was named in March 2005 after the nymph Kallichore.〔(IAUC 8502: ''Satellites of Jupiter'' ) 2005 March 30 (naming the moon)〕 Kallichore belongs to the Carme group, made up of irregular retrograde moons orbiting Jupiter at a distance ranging between 23 and 24 Gm and at an inclination of about 165°. ==References== * (Kallichore.com ) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Kallichore (moon)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
